Hello,
I would have to do a complete client consult to know what is going on with your friend.
FM has many aspects like digestive issues, sleep, pain, extremee fatigue. Without seeing bloodwork and knowing exactly what her symptoms are it would be impossible to tell you what to do or where to start. It is essential to work with someone who knows where to start so as not to create a healing crisis.
FM is often due to adrenal burnout. You can listen to my interview on adrenal burnout and this will get you started in the right direction. Most people with FM have parsite and candida issues as well.
