acid Reflux

Question
Hi, I went to the web site  you posted, but all I see is a Chinese web site with a lot of Chinese Characters. Is your web site a Chinese web Site? If not then maybe I've been hacked. My computer has been rather slow. I hope I've not been hacked! Anyway.. I'm looking for alternative ideas to deal with my Gerd and the acid that gets into the esophagus(sp?) every once in a while (as it is today...I ate a 3 tiny bits of spicy Mexican food last night and some Dutch apple pie and I think that was the cause of the acid in the esophagus today) Normally my diet is very bland and only a few pureed green vegetables and recently some home made vegetable soup with no spices and oatmeal for breakfast. Normally I'm on a self imposed fat free diet  because I have all the symptoms of gallbladder disease, but all the tests come back negative, so after much reading on the net, I self diagnosed myself with Habba syndrome because it covers all the symptoms of gallbladder disease, and negative gallbladder test results. Habba syndrome is not a cure or a cause, only a name to a set of symptoms,( http://habbasyndrome.com/_wsn/page2.html ). From the Habba syndrome web site I did learn about the Rx Cholestyramien which does control diarrhea. After reading the Habba syndrome web site, my Scripps gastroenterologist has gave me an RX for Cholestyramine. I've been taking it for the past 8 months. It does control the diarrhea, but ever 8-10 hrs it's back, unless I eat something that causes the diarrhea to happen instantly..as bread tends to do. I also do not eat eggs, or shrimp, due to the hi cholesterol they have. Fat or hi cholesterol or spices or packaged foods and a number of other things will cause me grave pain under my rib case, so I only eat 0 or very low fat foods. Also I'm on a self imposed dairy free diet(I'm lactose intolerant)and a sugar free diet(I'm hypoglycemic) and gluten free diet (as I might have a gluten problem, my local health food store thinks, so I've gone on a gluten free diet, trying to find the cause of the diarrhea). So I've not had 10 years of diarrhea and only a mall amount of luck in controlling it, via a very strict diet and the RX Cholestyramine.I've been to a number of MDs and 2 Scripps gastroenterologists which have given me 3 scopes which resulted in showing nothing other than mild colitis, but which was not enough to explain the chronic dirreaha. nothing turns up, yet I have the symptoms of Gallbladder disease the last 5-6 years. Originally all the diarrhea stared about 11 years ago after a bout a year of very upsetting stressful experiences which ended in a move from Tx to Ca. After the move here to Ca, the diarrhea slowly got worse, but  3 years ago it took a leap and it be came totally uncontrollable and I became house bound.  3-4 years ago I developed Tinnitus which was not terribly bothersome until about 3 months ago when it too took a leap and became fairly loud. Within a month of the tinnitus getting worse, my feet began to fell like they were vibrating/buzzing and I've found that gets worse with any sugar and will go up my legs into my fanny and back.At first I dint' worry too much about this aspect because I'm hypoglycemic, but now I'm much more concerned and it's very distracting....So I'm wondering if putting all these things together if they are all related to nerves? My cousin (just 1 week younger than me (I'm 64) has neuropathy(sorry I do not know much about this yet, but she told me a few days ago that she takes medication for it and she says it's an inherited rare disease.  Unfortunately my cousin is on a trip and I can't ask her for any further details for another 2 weeks.I do not know if all these things are related or not, that is why I'm telling you all of my various symptoms.so there you have everything I can think to tell you and to ask you if any of t his sounds like anything you've heard of and if you can tell me any areas I should read more on that might lead me to some sort of resolution to my problems. I hate to think of spending the rest of my life like this, although I've come to accept that might be the way things are, but I'm not ready to give up the fight to find some help just yet, as I think there may be some answers out there for my conditions...at least a way to improve them. Thanks for any help, suggestions, ideas, or thoughts you can give me and also, thank you for taking the time to read my long email, Jannet Swin-Dell in San Diego, CA.

PS> I'm really looking forward to reading your newsletters.

Answer
You must have a virus in your computer. Anyway it sounds like you have food allergies or extreme constipation.  Your colon is full of mucus which coats the sigestive tract and prevents absorption to form a hard stool I would look into fiber with bentonite and pysllium to get out the mucus.  Your perestalsis is slow and not moving the bowels also caused from extrmem contipation Egen thoug you are having diarrhea and the food is pushing right out . Or your illial cecal valve is stuck open  . God see a nautrapthic doctor.  they can help you  Jayne
