Question
I am a very active 47 year old women who loves running and going to the gym. I eat healthy. I do not eat any fat and I do not eat red meat or eggs.I have been diagnosed with an under active thyroid about 2 years ago.I just had my blood tested and I have been told it is still not in normal range. I am currently taking 100 mcg Levothyroxine.I also have diverticulitis. I think that my hypothyroidism has been the cause of numerous problems that I have had.Can you please suggest any supplement or any way to help hypothyroidism? I have not been myself for over 2 years.PLEASE any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
Answer
Hello Debbie,
I would need to know your thyroid and livers numbers to know exactly what is going on. I do offer complete phone consults.
Without knowing anything else about you, I would suggest finding out your blood type and eating more for your blood type.
For example, O blood types need red meet but a blood types gain weight on red meet.
Good fats are essental bad fats are terrible. Good fats are nuts, olives, fish from the ocean, avacados, olive oil and butter. Bad fats are margarine, lard, corn, vegetable, safflower oil, etc.
Good fats burn fat and bad fats store fat.
If it were me I would try Thyroid Support. You can find it on my web site.
I would also support the liver as T4 converts to T3 in the liver but I don't know enought about your health to know what to suggest so I genertically go with Milk Thistle Combination. You can also find this on my web site.
For diverticlitis many of my cliets tell me Intestinal Soothe and Build taken before each meal with Proactazyme plus works well for them.
If they are not eliminating well then they often use something a little stronger calle Bowel Detox instead.
Here is a call in number to listen to my recorded weight loss class. The first & second section talks extensively about liver and weight loss issues. It would benefit you to listen and learn.
