Re: alchohol, liver & exercise ?

Question
Hey Tonja!

I was reading the question by the person with high cholesterol who switched their alcohol consumption habits and was recommended to begin exercising and taking a medicinal regiment.

You told the person how taking Milk Thisle every day would support the liver.  I've never heard of it, but some of my relatives have had problems with their livers, so I was curious if you could tell me more about it.  Is it a type of milk, or is it just the name?  and Does it make the liver stronger or does it help clean it?

And with the lemon and water, is there another way of doing that?  I never have liked lemon in my water, i always order it at restaurants without lemon. haha.  Can i drink warm lemonade? or maybe just a big big glass of ice water with a half lemon in it, but so it's pretty dilute, and I don't really taste the lemon?

Thanks so much!

Answer
Milk Thistle is an herb. Time Release Milk Thistle is the best. You can find it on my website at www.YourHerbalHealthSolutions.com. It absorbs toxins in the liver and can help with the effect of a hangover.

For those that already have challenges with their liver then I would suggest the Milk Thistle Combination on my website.

To flush the liver the way I described is the way to do it. It is only 1/2 a cup of pure warm water first thing in the morning with 1/2 a lemon in it. If it was fun or easy then it is probably not healthy,.

You can put the lemon in more water than 1/2 a cup but it does need to be warm, pure and drunk first thing in the AM.
