Question
Hi there, I appreciate any advise regarding the following,
I'm having a sticky white sputum nearly 2 years now, no cough, all blood tests normal, and recently i'm experiencing both ear dullness, lightheaded and dizziness, is there any herbs to drink to liquefy the sputum or something? Many thanks.
Answer
Hi Sam,
Mellein oil is a powerful remedy for bronchial congestion. The oil stops coughs, unclogs bronchial tubes, and helps to clear up asthma attacks. Take it in tea or fruit juice. The effect is almost immediate.
Pau d'srco acts as a natural antibiotic and reduces inflammation. Drink 3 cups of Pau d'arco tea daily.
Slippery elm bark tablets are also effective in reducing mucus.
Eat a diet consisting primarily of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, oatmeal, brown rice, and whole grains.
Include garlic and onions in your diet. These foods contain quercetin and mustard oils, which have been shown to inhibit an enzyme that aids in releasing inflammatory chemicals.
Do not eat ice cream or drink extremely cold liquids. Cold can shock the bronchial tubes into spasms.
Limit your us of sugar.
This should help reduce mucus and help rid your body of toxins.
If you don't improve, write to me about doing a monthly fast.
Best wishes,
Dennis
